At most gala fundraisers, the money raised would primarily go to the organizing entity which has the resources to organize such an event. As a result, many organizations with limited resources look on with admiration.
A new concept came to reality when Michael Chan and Macy Mak Chan of MM Foundation and a group of innovative community leaders formed a team to pioneer this concept to provide these organizations with a funding opportunity without the financial risk and minimum organizing responsibilities.
